Orange County Restaurant Week is now celebrating its’ 12th year and I am super stoked that I am a part of this amazing community! Orange County Restaurant Week gives the opportunity to our fabulous restaurants throughout the county to showcase their favorite dishes and it gives customers a chance to purchase prix fixe menus and try a flavor of each restaurant.
There is a wide price range of menus ranging from $10-$25 for lunch and from $20-$80 for dinner, which makes this event affordable for everyone! Some of these menus even include cocktail and wine options! This event will take place from March 8-14 and the Launch Party will happen on Saturday, March 7th to kick off the event!
To kick off the OC Restaurant Week, join the Launch Party on the red carpet at The Marriott Irvine Spectrum on March 7th from 1:00pm – 5:00 pm, with the first additional hour form 1:00pm-2:00pm admitting VIP tickets only.
At the launch party, you will be able to sample some of OC’s top restaurants and restaurant launch party foodies will be the first to try the soon to be famous wet and spicy taco from Chela’s Mexican Grill! This crispy potato taco is topped with Chile Verde, Sour cream, Queso Fresco, Grated Cheese, Avocado and Mexican relish with Habanero, Red onion and Serrano and will be available starting March 8th for purchase! This year OCRW is piloting a new addition to their already awesome week of fabulous foodie favorites. They are adding spicy menus as an addition to the choices already offered throughout Orange County for Restaurant Week! My husband will definitely partake in this option…I on the other hand am a total gringo when it comes to anything spicy.
