Recently I had the opportunity to check out a great restaurant called, The Shore in San Clemente that had a positive vibe. In addition to being a restaurant, they also have live entertainment on Thursdays through Saturdays! The Shore has a great location on Avenida Del Mar in San Clemente which is close to the beach as well as many cute boutiques, cafes, and the public library. I was pleasantly surprised by the many offerings the Shore had not only on their food menu, but also on their drink menu, and their specials. Since I am a deals fanatic, I will be focusing on the deals offered at The Shore, but to see more of the specifics of each individual food dish, check out my husband’s article: Tom’s Foodie Article about The Shore

The Shore is a fun place to hang out and they have a fabulous fun staff. We were fortunate to be served by Christa on the evening we were there. Christa, the Assistant General Manager was extremely accommodating as she served us fabulous appetizers, entrees, deserts, and drinks. Check out some of the pictures on the bottom of my article to see a few of the items we had the opportunity to try.
Personally, my favorite items on the menu were the tuna tartare, the lamb chop and the
fried macaroni and cheese balls! For the drinks, I liked the Bananas ‘Bout You Martini & the Winetini that had a yummy alcohol called St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur. My desert favorites were the Banana Cream Pie and the Homemade chocolate cake. They both made my taste buds happily smile. The Pie was so good and it is made from scratch daily…The next day I was wishing I had leftovers…
In addition to the awesome restaurant and lounge, there is also a room to rent out for private parties with a catering menu. In discussing prices to rent this room with Christa, I found it to be quite reasonable for a future event. If you are thinking of throwing a private party or even just want to get together a group of friends for a party without having to set up and clean up in your own house, this place is definitely one to check out. 🙂
