This Sunday, August 25th my friend, Bobby is throwing an awesome event in lovely Costa Mesa, California at the California Scenario venue, formerly Noguchi Gardens. This venue is located across the street from South Coast Plaza nearby to T.G.I.F’s. The event I am speaking of is called Pig Out 2.0 which will have a variety of all you can eat food from some of the area’s most talented chefs as well as cocktails from of the well respected bars! Restaurants that will participate in Pig Out 2.0 include Broadway by Amar Santana, Juliette’s Kitchen and Bar, A Restaurant, The Attic on Broadway, Hopscotch, Pizzeria Mozza, The Cheese Shop, Arc Kitchen and Bar, Little Sparrow Cafe, The Cannery, The Haven Collective and Valenza Chocolatier!
Bars included that will serve some amazing cocktails include: Broadway by Amar Santana, Juliette’s Kitchen and Bar, Napa Rose, 320 Main, Arc Kitchen and Bar, The Playground, Pie Society, and more…
There will also be a raffle of wines and spirits, as well as a silent auction to support the efforts of “Inspire Artistic Minds.” 🙂 This organization was built to assist local people in the beverage and culinary industry economically to further their education through seminars, certificate programs, events, etc. This will be an outdoor event and presales of tickets will start at $75, but tickets will be $100 at the door and $125 for VIP. VIP includes 1 hour early entry cocktail reception & mingle with chefs (no food), 1 entry into the raffle for a liquor cabinet start up kit, and a special gift upon check in. Pig Out 1.0 must have been a big success. I love events where multiple restaurants get together. It’s a good way to try new ones and see if you like them.
