This Thursday the Third Savor Santa Ana event will be coming back to Downtown Santa Ana! On this Thursday, July 23rd a culmination of a variety of different restaurants in Downtown Santa Ana will share their dining specialties with attendees of this special event!
I went to the first Savor Santa Ana event and had a blast! At this event, you will have the opportunity to sample dozens of some of the hottest OC restaurants within one night! On Thursday, July 23rd from 5:00pm-9:30pm, you will be able to pick up a booklet of 5 taste tickets for ONLY $10 or upgrade to a VIP Foodie Fast Pass and take advantage of shorter lines, more tastings, drink tickets and a VIP experience for only $45. In addition to your booklet, you will have a route map in hand to help you navigate your way to each foodie destination! This event also occurs at the same time as the Downtown Santa Ana Farmer’s Market!
You can purchase your Savor Santa Ana experience tickets at the Ticket & Info Booth at the DTSA Farmers’ Market (located on Spurgeon between 3rd and 4th Streets) or also at a secondary ticket booth at the Artists’ Village Promenade (in front of 125 N. Broadway). The ticket booth will open at 5:00 PM on Thursday; July 23rd. Advance tickets are also available online at Downtown Santa Ana and can be picked up at the will-call at the ticket booth.
In addition to your $10 for 5 tastes, as well as the VIP Tasting pass with 10 tasting tickets and 2 cocktails for $45, there will also be trolley transportation available to take everyone to different areas of the event!
” Maybe someone knows downtown a little and maybe they don’t know it at all,” said Ryan Smolar of the Downtown Restaurant Association, ” and this is a chance for them to get really familiar with it: to meet the chefs and try the food.”
“Savor Santa Ana isn’t about making money,” said Chef Phil Burden of the Stockyard Sandwich Co., “it’s about giving everyone the opportunity to try our food.”
