Win Free Tickets to Los Angeles Travel Show in Long Beach!!

The Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show is California’s largest travel show and has a little bit of something for everyone.  There are hundreds of destinations to travel that are available to learn about at the show and guest celebrity speakers.  Not only can you hear travel tips from professionals, there are many deals on vacation getaways to places all over the world, in addition to contests, giveaways, and freebies as you walk around the Long Beach Convention center and visit the different booths.

Not only are the over 100 different exhibitors sharing free pamphlets and advice about how to travel for the best deal possible to your favorite destination, there are hands-on-activities such as climbing a rock wall and experiencing the zip-line across the travel show floor.  There is also a culinary stage for cooking demonstrations, a bubble roller water ball that you can fit inside to walk on water, and a bungee trampoline!  There are even different dance companies putting on different cultural dance shows on one stage.

For those of you that have travelled in the past, and for those of you that never have, there is a little bit of something for everybody.  The travel show gives you an opportunity to explore different destinations all around the world and to take advantage of picking the brains of educated individuals to learn all about different places in the world.

We attended the travel show last year and had the opportunity to hear Samantha Brown & Andrew Zimmern speak and we had the opportunity to meet them and take some pictures with Samanatha Brown.  This was a very exciting experience for me because I absolutely love to travel to see different destinations, learn about new cultures and different ways of life.

This year, some of the guest speakers will include Pauline Frommer, Travel Writer, Creator of Pauline Frommer Guidebooks, Chris Harrison, Host of ABC’s “The Bachelor” TV show, Patricia Schultz, Author of “1,000 Places to See Before You Die,” & Rick Steves, Travel Writer, Host of Rick Steves Europe and Travel with Rick Steves, Europe Through the Back Door.  These are only 4 of the guest speakers that will be presenting at the travel show. There are also 25 other guest speakers scheduled to speak over the 2 day period the Travel Show will be exhibited.  The Travel Show will take place January 12 & 13, 2013 from 10:00am to 5:00 pm at the Long Beach Convention Center on Ocean Blvd. See website for details.
