I love to go to Las Vegas and I especially love to go when I can find a great deal!! After booking a Vegas trip last night and getting a free room night at the Cosmopolitan, 2 free dinner buffet passes for Wicked Spoon, & a $100 gift card to use in the Cosmopolitan hotel on the strip in Las Vegas and sharing about it on facebook with my friends, I was begged to share with others, How do I do this? Well, in all honesty, if I had booked 5 nights instead of the four I booked I could have also had 2 tickets to the hot new show in the Cosmopolitan, “Rose, Rabbit, Lie” & a $100 dining card as well. The excitement of my friends and fans about the idea of all of these Vegas freebies inspired me to write this article today!

If you just read article 1, that blurb above was the same, but I feel the need to be consistent for those of you that missed Part 1. To read Part 1 & learn about how to save prior to arriving in Vegas, click here –> Part 1 – How to Go to Vegas on a Budget – What to do before you Leave. This part 2 article is all about how to save money once you arrive in Las Vegas, so if you are already in Vegas, you can skip Part 1 🙂

You have arrived in the city of sin and you are going to have a blast, but first take heed of my money saving tips here! 🙂 There are several promotions you can take advantage of once you arrive in town! One of the most important items to take into consideration is becoming a member of each hotel’s rewards program! Yes you are hearing me correctly…I always thought the rewards programs were a nuisance and a waste of time since I am personally not a gambler, but last time I was in Vegas I learned that I was wrong!!! Joining the “Identity Club Program” at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas this past December is how I got all of the freebies I mention in the above paragraph…I also must

say…even without the club card, as a non member, only email subscriber, I was still offered the 2 free tickets to Rose, Rabbit, Lie & a $100 gift card just for simply booking 2 nights!!! I will do another article all about the Rewards program cards in Vegas, but for now I am telling you, simply sign up and accrue your points when you dine, stay at the hotel, gamble or shop!!! Those points give you free stuff in the future. 🙂 Believe me!!

The next item I want to mention is Hotel Freebies and slot pulls. Seriously, there is nothing more annoying than when you are walking down the strip and casinos harass you to pull the slot for a free gift…well I am here to tell you, you have absolutely nothing to loose! From pulling those silly slots, I have received things like a professional 8×10 picture in front of the Christmas tree and even bath and body products by Ahava (awesome skin care products made in Israel) so you truly never know what you are going to get. 🙂

Sometimes there are hotel chains that offer buffet cards for one price for 24 hours worth of buffets at all of the properties under their company. These are great if you are in Vegas with a family and the kids are fussy about what they will eat. It also gives you an opportunity to eat at any hour and try a variety of different buffets. I believe the Harrah’s properties offer this card. To read more about the buffet package, click here –> BUFFET DEALS.

Another important place to visit when you are in Las Vegas is the Half Price Ticket Booth! These ticket booths are called Tix4Tonight and always have something going on. There are so many different dining and show options available. Go to www.Tix4Tonight.com for more information. 🙂 The tickets and dining options change daily based upon availability. Last time I was in Las Vegas, I got 2 tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil, Zumanity show for 40% off and I sat only 7 rows away from the stage!! With this show that could be a good or bad thing depending upon how much you want to get involved..Since this is the sexual Cirque Du Soleil, my hubby ended up having a fake penis dangling in his face for part of the show while the audience, including myself sat there cracking up!

Last but not least, if you like nightclubs and you want to get in free and maybe even get a few free drinks (the drink part is usually for ladies only….sorry guys) you can read my article about how to never pay full price at a Las Vegas nightclub and get yourself in free!! Here is the link to get on lists and get in nightclubs for free…men included. 🙂 –> How to Get in Las Vegas Nightclubs and never pay full price!!

First of all I would like to say great blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do
not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
I have had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out
how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Many thanks!
Hello! Thank you for the comment and the compliment. They are both greatly appreciated. The best piece of advice I could give to you if the thoughts are stirring in your mind is to start with an outline…just jot down a couple of ideas you have and expand from there. It is important to have the different thoughts with several other elements to back up those ideas…Come up with your beginning and ending after you write the middle.:) Good luck! Let me know if that helps:) Have a fabulous evening!
