I am so very excited for a new event aboard the Queen Mary Ship in Long Beach that will be making its debut on Friday April 8th! This new event titled, “Fantasea” will combine two of my favorite places into one. “The Magic Castle – Academy of Magical Arts” (An exclusive club in which you must be a member or have an invite) will come aboard the haunted Queen Mary Ship for a weekend of magical memories from Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10!
This event will include show-stopping performances and interactive trainings to create a spell-binding magical journey aboard the Queen Mary. The once salons and decks will be transformed into The Enchanted Corridor, Hocus Pocus Parlour & Pub, Wizard Alley & Platform, The Cauldron, Abracadabra Café and The Secret Circle Study!
I have been to so many awesome events aboard the fabulous historical Queen Mary Ship as you can see in my photos throughout this article. 🙂 I know this new event will be exceptional!

FantaSea: “Friday Night Of Illusion” Show ($29) Experience Master Illusionists who will mystify your mind in an unforgettable evening starring the World Famous Murray Sawchuck and his spectacular duo plus award-winning celebrity favorite Joel Ward on the Wizarding Platform in Wizarding Alley.

FantaSea: “Friday Night Of Illusions” Pass ($19) – All night access to The Hocus Pocus Parlour & Pub showcasing four of The Magic Castle’s best and brightest stars on The Parlour Stage. Plus take in the magic of The Enchanted Corridor for some Up-Close Magic shows and Strolling Tricksters in this great hall of wonder.
Magic Mixology in the Cauldron ($18) Let your senses bubble over in a 30 minute mixology tasting class with eccentric libations brought to you by the wizards of the vintage mixology world.
Haunted Encounters Tour ($15) A haunted history tour like no other, lead by a trained paranormal guide. Explore the Queen Mary’s most notorious paranormal hot spots and hear heroing tales of the ship’s haunted past. What better place for such walks than the ship voted in the Top 10 Most Haunted by Time Magazine!

Hours of Fantasea for each day will be as follows:
Friday, April 8, 7:00 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Saturday, April 9, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Sunday, April 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This event should be an awesome experience as you have an opportunity to get up close and personal with the mesmerizing illusionists and magicians as they roam the ship and perform amazing magic tricks before your very eyes! The Magic Castle is always a fun filled evening! I have only been twice, but I do plan to go back soon because I was invited again on my last visit. I would love to share photos, however there are no cameras allowed inside the castle, which explains why the pictures I share here are only outside the venue and inside the entrance. 🙂
The Queen Mary is a fabulous place to visit and there are always so many fun events throughout the year. I am super excited about this new one to come! I am looking forward to all of the magic festivities, dinner, cocktails, Haunted Encounters Tour, and the Golden Era of Entertainers Tour! I hope to see you there! This event should be a blast!
