In the past I have written about the awesome sample sales that go on in downtown Los Angeles every month. I would like to inform you about an upcoming end of summer sample sale in Los Angeles that will last from September 19th – 22nd! CLD and Wish Australia are teaming up for a fabulous end of summer sample sale!!!
CLD, otherwise known as the Chic Little Devil Style House is LA’s largest style house and offers studio services for professional costume designers and wardrobe stylists with a stock of over 50,000 designer garments, accessories, and shoes to select from that come from more than 200 top designers in the industry!! There are all styles available ranging from contemporary to vintage! Some other services also available at CLD are designer PR, personal client wardrobe styling and event services. As can be seen on the flyer in this article, the sale will have a large selection of the brand Wish from Australia along with other popular labels with prices ranging from $5 and up with most items not being over $50. These items won’t last long!
Wish’ designer, Annette Cannock grew up in Australia in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and had a passion for fashion and she would recreate styles, such as gorgeous gowns and dresses for herself and her sisters as she traveled the world, developing a relationship with style and growing to love a variety of eclectic fashions. Together with her husband, she built the brand Wish and has continued to flourish in a variety of different geographic areas.
Wish is also currently big in Hollywood with many celebrity fans of Wish Australia which include:

Available lines include Alexander McQueen (CLD has the largest selection of his designs in the country), Isabel Marant, and Thomas Wylde among others.

WOW…such awesome clothes at a great price! Last May, a couple friends and I went to New York and got to attend some private Sample Sales…it was great!

Do they have sample sales for men? I know my wife loves this, but she’s tall and says a lot of these aren’t here size, but loves going to them.
That is a great question. The last sample I was at was for Cedar SInai Hospital for charity and they did in fact have men and women’s clothing! 🙂
I was just about to ask the same question. Its a good thing Jim Striegel already did ask it. I also love the designs but wasn’t able to find something suited for men then I’ve just realized that these designs are exclusively made for women as the name implies “Chic Little Devil”. I guess its just not our time yet Jim. Anyway great post Dani.

I love sample sales!! My daughters get the most beautiful ball gowns for $25 to $35 every year. I try to take advantage of sample sales whenever possible but… they can be hard to find. I really wish I lived closer so I could attend this one. The designers and styles sound magnificent. I love to follow your blog because you have great things to share not just about fashion but living!

They have these all the time in NYC, not sure when it is but there is a big bridal gown one, that women can get like 75% off name brand dresses..
That sounds like a fabulous sale…probably even worth the flight to NY because some of those dresses can get expensive! 😉

Really nice items that are for sale. I never heard of them, but only cause I’m not a big shopper… I leave that to my most amazing and capable wife!!! I do wish we could go but we live on the east coast.
