Wafflette Cafe Celebrates National Waffle Day With Freebies and My Gift Card Giveaway

 

National Waffle Day is coming this weekend on Sunday, August 24 & Wafflette Café in Foothill Ranch, California will celebrate with a National Waffle Weekend promotion!  I live close to this café & have not yet had the chance to check it out, but I will definitely be heading in soon!  This promotion looks to good to pass up! 

Check out this deal!  From open to close Saturday and Sunday, Wafflette Café will be offering a buy one get one free deal on its’ line of savory waffle sandwiches. In conjunction with this offer, Wafflette Café will also introduce shaved snow, a flavor-infused, soy-based frozen treat, to the menu by offering a FREE 8oz sample of shaved snow with one topping to each guest starting Friday, August 22, 11:00 – 3:00 p.m. & 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., and open to close Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, customers throughout the weekend are eligible to enter to win an iPad Mini. 

National Waffle Day, observed August 24, originates from 1869 when Cornelius Swartwout received the first U.S. patent for a waffle iron. You learn something new everyday! 🙂

 

Wafflette Café opened in December 2013 and has recently undergone new management by Orange County resident Thuong Nguyen.

“We hope to continue growing within the neighborhood and building our community by inviting new guests to check out everything we have to offer here at Wafflette Café with our National Waffle Weekend offers,” said Nguyen.

In addition to shaved snow and waffle sandwiches, The Wafflette Café also offers coffee & espresso drinks by Los Angeles-based Groundwork Coffee, dessert waffles, breakfast served all day and other frozen dessert treats, such as their shakes.  Wafflette Café is located in Foothill Ranch’s Towne Centre, 26612 Towne Centre Drive, Suite C, Foothill Ranch, CA 92610.

The prices for this restaurant are also quite economical. With all savory sandwiches costing less than $9, Breakfast items less than $7, and desserts under $7, this is the place to go without breaking the budget! 🙂
