Last night I attended a media preview at the Sub-Zero & Wolf Showroom in Costa Mesa for the upcoming Orange County Restaurant Week! Vendors included at this event were Blue C Sushi, Fig & Olive, Maro Wood Grill, Bread Artisan Bakery, Casey’s Cupcakes, Slapfish, Valenza
Chocolatier, and Merryvale Winery. There were a variety of decadent foods to try. My favorite of the evening was a crostini prepared by Fig & Olive that was a sugar cookie with mascarpone cheese and dark cherries. I could easily sit and eat several of these in one sitting! There was also delicious sushi, chocolates cupcakes, lobster rolls and more! See my pictures for several of the fabulous items I enjoyed.
Orange County Restaurant Week will happen for the 7th year from March 1st – March 7th and you will have an opportunity to take advantage of discounted prix fixe menus from 100 of some of the best restaurants throughout Orange County!
Lunch menu prices will vary per the cost of each restaurant and meals will be priced as $10, $15, or $20 depending on where you dine. Dinner menu will be $20, $30, $40, or $50 and each prix fixe menu will include a variety of dishes from each restaurant! This is a great value for your money to enjoy all of the different restaurants that Orange County has to offer!
The launch party at the Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel which is one of my most favorite events to attend each year has already sold out, so make sure to get your restaurant reservations in ahead of time to enjoy the restaurants you love at the times you choose during this one amazing week of a food extravaganza!
