A new event from OC Weekly is coming to town this February! On Saturday, February 7th the new event, Bottoms Up will be happening at the Newport Dunes. The Bottoms Up event will feature restaurants, bars, and a variety of different spirits, beers, wines and live music! This event will be in celebration of the much-anticipated Happy Hour Guide coming January 29, 2015!

All guests in attendance will have an opportunity to eat and drink themselves silly for one admission price and mass quantities of food and beverages from a variety of vendors! For a full list of beverage vendors click link here –> Beverage Vendors. Restaurants and Bars are still currently being added to the website, but as of now participating restaurants and bars include: A & O Kitchen+Bar, The Robbins Nest, Iron Press, Tempo Urban Kitchen, Boathouse Collective, Kitsch Bar & Rudy’s!

This event will happen on Saturday, February 7 from 1pm to 4pm and it should be a totally awesome time with the lineup of vendors. OC Weekly always seems to throw some excellent parties! I have not attended an OC Weekly event, yet. wink wink. My favorite OC restaurant may be Bruxie. I also really like True Food Kitchen in Newport Beach and hole in the wall Sushi Sho in Costa Mesa.
Good luck in my contest Stephanie! Bruxie is a great choice! How could you go wrong with one of their delicious waffle sandwiches? I love the Green Eggs and Ham! I have never visited the other 2 places you mention..I will have to check them out! 🙂
I haven’t yet been to an OC Weekly Event, but they all look like so much fun. What could be more fun than meeting new people who share your same interests?? My new favorite restraunt is The Boathouse Collective. Their sushi and virgin Mules are awesome!!
Good luck in my contest Heather! The Boathouse Collective is definitely an amazing place! They have such great food and cocktails and I love how there is an area for the kids to hang out and do art while the parents enjoy their meal:)
A few years back my wife and I went to the OC Weekly Christmas party.
Awesome Alex! I have never been to one of their Christmas parties.:) Good luck in my contest! 🙂
Sounds like a great place to visit! I would definitely want to experience it myself. Thank you for the special offer code!

For a week, I need to come out there and be a tag-a-long friend haha. You are always posting so many fun things going on.
Thanks so much for the comment! When you come to Cali, let me know.:)
My favorite OC restaurant is The Ranch Restaurant! Just went there for a team dinner, and it was amazing! Really have to try their signature Popovers and also the Harvest Pumpkin Gnocchi. Yummy!! Then after dinner, you can head over to the Salon part of The Ranch and have a great time dancing!
Chewie, I totally agree with you! The Ranch is one of my favorite restaurants in the OC as well! I have never tried the gnocchi! That sounds awesome! Thanks for the great comment!
I have never been to an OC Restaurant.
Hope you get to visit one soon! 🙂
