Visit my 2017 Boysenberry Festival article here —> KNOTT’S BOYSENBERRY FESTIVAL 2017 Over the last few years amusement parks seem to have gone up in price like crazy! In the past I have written articles for Disneyland, Sea World & Universal Studios to help people have fun at those places and save money! Click the links in blue at the bottom of this article to read about those fun places, but today I want to share about 7 different awesome specials that allow you to get into Knott’s Berry Farm for a good price!

I always have my eyes open for the best deal and I always strive to get the best price before I go to any amusement parks! Just recently I was so excited to go to the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival, but I was certainly unwilling to pay the gate admission price of $67 plus taxes and fees! No Thank you! After a bit of investigation, I found many ways to visit Knott’s Berry Farm for a much cheaper price and I would love to share them with you below!

Knott’s Discount #1 – Buy your tickets through their website online.
Yes, you heard me right. If you buy your tickets online, you can get a huge discount in comparison to purchasing them at the ticket gate! There are 2 ways to go about purchasing tickets online. If you purchase your tickets online through the Knott’s Berry Farm website last minute (1-2 days in advance) they cost $43. If you purchase them 3 days in advance, you can get them for $40. There is also a single day pass available for kids and seniors for $37. For details of all these tickets to purchase you can click here –> Purchase Knott’s Tickets.

Knott’s Discount #2 – Buy an Annual Pass
Knott’s Annual passes are significantly cheaper than any amusement park pass I have seen…definitely not the $400 to $700 you must spend for a Disney annual pass…think more along the lines of 4 payments of only $21.50…Yes you heard me right… $21.50 x 4 = $86!! Get a pass for under $100 bucks and go any time you want (except Knott’s Scary Farm for Halloween). In addition to this super cheap price, keep an eye out for regular deals throughout the year (mostly in the spring and fall) posted by the mommy bloggers for passes even cheaper than this! Sometimes they go down to like $65-$70 for a year pass!
In addition to this super cheap pass, there are of course a few other pass options that include the water park, parking (may be worth looking into for the $198…parking is $15!!), and a pass that even includes a dining plan! To see all of the Knott’s Annual Pass plans click here –> Knott’s Annual Pass Plans.

Knott’s Discount #3 – Baskin Robbins Discount
Every year Knott’s Berry Farm partners with Baskin Robbins from the beginning of the year through half of the summer to give away discount coupons for Knott’s in their ice cream shops. I recently went to pick up this coupon at my neighborhood Baskin Robbins prior to going to the boysenberry festival. This coupon allows you to save $24 on each admission and all you have to do is show it at the gate. I am including a photo of it in this post. This year these coupons are good to use through 7-31-15. Keep an eye out for these yearly.

Knott’s Discount #4 – Goldstar Events Discount Tickets
This is usually a for sure thing, but can never be a guarantee. Goldstar Events has discount tickets for all sorts of different activities, events, restaurants and more and one of the deals I have seen regularly pop up in their database is discount Knott’s Berry Farm tickets. J These tickets range in price from $33-$38 dollars a piece, but don’t forget Goldstar does charge a small service fee to purchase through them, but Knott’s also charges a fee to purchase online tickets, so they are still cheaper through Goldsstar. Here is the link –> Gold Star Events Knott’s Tickets

Knott’s Discount #5 – AAA Membership Discount
If you have a AAA Membership, you can show your card at the gate and get 30% off Knott’s Tickets and 20% off Soak City Water park Tickets! Here are more details –> AAA Knott’s Tickets

Knott’s Discount #6 – Arrive at Knott’s after 4:00pm
This is actually the deal that I ended up using at Knott’s Berry Farm last weekend for the last days of the Boysenberry Festival! If you arrive at 4pm (or even 3:45…that is when the deal becomes available in their computers at the ticket gates) you can get Knott’s Berry Farm Tickets for $35. This was my favorite deal because I always enjoy going to amusement parks in the evening anyhow. 🙂

Knott’s Discount #7 – Military Discount
All you have to do is show your military i.d. and you can get discounted tickets for only $39!
Take the time to see which one of these deals works for you so you can save the most money! Please share if you have any other Knott’s Berry Farm Discounts that you know of with me below! Have fun at Knott’s Berry Farm. I think this is a great park to visit because you can find a deal and do not have to pay full price and their Knott’s Berry Farm friend chicken restaurant is so delicious! The boysenberry products at this park have also been a favorite since I was a young child! 🙂

That chicken dinner looks GOOD! And I love the pic of you with Richard Blade (big smiley face!). I have tickets to see Spandau Ballet at the OC Fairgrounds this summer and he’s doing an opening set, which I assume means spinning some classic alternative 80’s tunes. Woohoo!

Thanks for the comment Bryn! 🙂 The chicken dinner is always pretty amazing there & how can you ever go wrong with all of the boysenberry items? Yum! Richard Blade is definitely an awesome guy! He used to have regular sets at a nightclub I used to go weekly in mmy 20’s and that is where I knew him from. If his 80’s reunion event ever comes back to Knott’s, you have to go…it is so fun! 🙂 I was contemplating getting tickets to the Spandau Ballet show! You may see me there! 🙂
The Boysenberry Soft Serve Cookie Sandwich looks insane! How big is that thing!!!!
It is crazy big, but oh so tasty! I personally think it was one of the best value for your money items in the park! 🙂
We just went to Knott’s and had a ton of fun. We purchased our tickets online too and it saved lots of money.
That is so awesome to hear Erlene! They truly do have some great prices! 🙂 Did you do the Boysenberry Festival? 🙂
I’ve heard about Knotts Farm before, ok ok I watched Food Network Star lol Cookie Sandwiches are my favorite. But the picture didn’t capture it size until I saw you next to it ha ha
Pretty crazy huh Nicole? We had hard time finishing it between the 2 of us! How cool it was on the food network! 🙂
Great information DDD!! Thanks…
You are so very welcome LA! Enjoy! Why pay full price ever when you do not have to? 🙂
Usually Knott’s has a free military day on Nov. 11 (Veteran’s Day). Also, sometimes during the holiday season, they allow people into the park for about half an hour to do shopping at the craft fair.
That is awesome to know Alex! Thank you for sharing that! I never knew they had a military deal. I will have to add that to my list! I never heard of the craft fair shopping either. 🙂 Thanks!
Let me expand on that last thought. Shopper’s Passes (no charge for 45 minutes) are available at Guest Relations with a deposit equal to general admission. If you exit in 45 minutes you get your deposit back.
I see…I was wondering how they enforce that to make people leave the park after 45 minutes! Very smart! 😉
Thanks for the helpful info!
You are so very welcome Sara! Enjoy!😃👍
