The 16th annual Taste of Huntington Beach is a one-price, all-inclusive event highlighting the excellent food and beverage available in the gorgeous city of HB! I have attended this event religiously for the last several years and it is always a great time!
Attendees can enjoy unlimited samples and sips from stellar culinary establishments, wineries and breweries. The Taste also features a silent auction and raffle, plus live musical entertainment. This years’ entertainment will be the band, The Ramsey Brothers, a local band from Huntington Beach. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Friends of the Children’s Library (FOTCL). Since 2001, the Taste of HB has helped the FOTCL raise more than $500,000 for the Children’s Department of the HB Public Library!
This event will take place on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 12 Noon to 4 PM & there will also be a VIP Reception from 11 AM to 12 Noon. It will be held at the HB Sports Complex; 18100 Goldenwest (at Talbert). For one all-inclusive ticket price, there will be unlimited tasting from over 50 local restaurants, as well as a variety of beer and wines to sample from many different California wineries and breweries! The silent auction will be in full swing and you will have an opportunity to bid on silent auction baskets filled with goods and services from local businesses.
There are a variety of different types of tickets for this event that are available for purchase including:
General Admission tickets $70 (when bought in bulks of ten, tickets are only $65 each) – Includes 4 incredible hours of:
- Unlimited tastes of food from more than 50 restaurants
- Sips of wine from California and boutique wineries
- Samples of beer from premier and craft breweries
- Live entertainment for your listening and dancing enjoyment
VIP Tickets $90 (when bought in bulks of ten, tickets are $85 each) – Includes all General Admission ticket perks, PLUS:
- Exclusive VIP reception, including food and drink available only to VIPs from 11 AM-12 Noon
- A 30-minute early entry into the main Taste tent (at 11:30 AM)
- A VIP tote bag, a VIP party plate, free valet parking plus other special VIP perks
- A commemorative 2017 glass wine glass (available when you leave the Taste)
**There is also an option for Designated Driver Tickets. They are $60 for general admission and $80 for VIP. These tickets include everything above except for alcohol.
The Taste of HB is pleased to announce that they will once again welcome the Food Network TV personality, Simon Majumdar as celebrity judge and host at the Taste of Huntington Beach! Simon, who appears as a judge on Food Network shows including Cutthroat Kitchen, Iron Chef America, The Next Iron Chef and Beat Bobby Flay, is also an author and food and travel writer! He has written three best-selling books “Eating for Britain,” “Eat My Globe,” and “Fed White and Blue.”
