Fabulous Fun and Fondue at the Melting Pot Brea (Brea location now closed)

Recently I had the opportunity to dine at the Melting Pot in Brea with three fabulous foodies in Orange County which included my husband, Tom Holmberg from Tom’s Foodie Blog, Mike Weber from Eating My Way Thru OC and Sukhraj Beasla from Eat Suki Eat, as well as Mike’s fabulous girlfriend, Katie Doyle.  We truly had a fine dining experience together and had an opportunity to sample two fresh cheese fondues, four salads, a variety of meats we cooked ourselves in pots of oil with skewer sticks, and two different types of chocolate fondue with dippers, such as strawberries, pound cake, rice krispy treats, and mini slices of cheesecake.

The staff at the Melting Pot Brea location was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the service and our meal.  The purpose of this post is to share some of the fabulous new offerings at the Melting Pot.  There are over 100 locations for Melting Pot across the United States and even a location in Canada in Edmonton and a location coming to Interlomas in Mexico soon.  The exciting expansion of Melting Pot is something to be celebrated as this food is truly delish!!

Club Fondue Email List

I have personally been subscribed to club fondue through the Melting Pot for years. You simply enter your email address into the entry on the Melting Pot page and then you get deals delivered straight to your inbox. These deals consist of upcoming events at your specific Melting Pot  which include wine events, fondue features, food tastings, advanced holiday reservation specials,  as well as birthday and anniversary certificates for free bowls of chocolate fondue (fabulous….one of my personal favorites!!)

Happy Birthday Melting Pot Brea 5 Years!!

Another fabulous deal offering that is only at the Melting Pot Brea exclusively is to celebrate their 5^th year in business.  This promotion will be going on from August 22 through September 22. To celebrate Melting Pot Brea’s five year birthday, they are offering small pots of cheese and chocolate for $5 per person and happy hour all day with $5 wines & $5 happy hour cocktails.  To get this discount just wish the Melting Pot Brea a “Happy Birthday” when making your reservation!

Dine before 6pm

The next promo to share is “Dining at Dusk for $29!” All summer you can get your choice of salad, entrée, and chocolate fondue for $29 a person.  Reservations are required and you must be seated prior to 6:00pm.

Special Wine Events

This Wednesday, August 8^th is a special wine event on the patio at the Melting Pot Brea which is from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm and offers wines, fruits, cheeses, and meats for $15. This is a great way to break up the workweek midweek on hump day for a yummy treat!

Happy Hour Specials

One of my favorites…happy hour specials!!  These are offers that are available in the bar and on the patio.

• Cocktail specials include:  $1 off all beers, $5 well drinks, $5 house wines & $6 featured cocktails.

  

• Fondue specials include: $5 salads, $5 small pot cheese fondue, $5 small pot chocolate fondue & $12 colossal shrimp cocktail (please note fondue specials are only available with the purchase of any drink, alcoholic or non-alcoholic)

Girl’s Night out once a month!!

This offer comes with a four course fondue menu that is $30 a person and there are $6 cocktails all night!!!  The next one is on August 28, 2012, but see website for future monthly opportunities.

This is Dani’s personal fave being the wine lover I am…Tuesdays only you can enjoy half price wine and beer flights…A suggestion I personally made to the Melting Pot Brea was that they should create a new tasting flight for their new variety of skinny sipping cocktails promoted by the Voli Light Vodka.  This new brand of vodka is owned and designed by pop singers Fergie & Pitbull.
