This year’s Taste of Anaheim is coming very soon at the Garden Walk shopping center in the city of Anaheim, California which is conveniently located down the street from the happiest place on earth,

Disneyland! Every year I look forward to the “Taste of” events in which I get to enjoy food from all of the local restaurants I write about throughout the year. It is a chance to try new places I have never been and to enjoy some old favorites with new items!

There are so many fabulous restaurants in Anaheim and surrounding cities that will be participating at this year’s event including Dave & Buster’s, Slater’s 50/50 signature burgers, Rubio’s, Roy’s Hawaiian, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, Catal (read about No wine corkage fees in my article here), Manhattan Steak and Seafood, a variety of Disney restaurants, and more!! Beverage vendors will include Bacardi, Rebel IPA, Samuel Adams, Sierra Nevada, Leinenkugel, New Belgium, Dream Machine, and Corona.

The 19th Annual Taste of Anaheim is coming to the Anaheim Garden Walk on May 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and will offer attendees a chance to sample delicious food, enjoy live music, and bid on amazing silent auction prizes. For entertainment the band, DSB, a Los Angeles-based band dedicated to the sound and style of rock-legends Journey will be headlining. Other musical guests include Wanted: The Bon Jovi Tribute Band and No Duh – the Ultimate Tribute to No Doubt!

Here is another awesome fact; you can get discounted tickets to the Taste of Anaheim that can be purchased from the event website for $40 plus handling fees if purchased prior to May 7, 2014. Tickets purchased at the gate are $45 per person. Children 5 & under are FREE. For additional information, contact the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce at (714) 758-0222. This sounds like a delicious and fun event! I love to sample small dishes from many restaurants. The “No Duh” band name is hilarious! Have fun!
I love your slogan- champagne on a beer budget! LOL!
I went to a Taste of Buffalo (Buffalo, NY) years ago and had a lot of fun.. It’s kind of like going to a buffet! I’m leery to go to them now, though, because I can’t eat gluten or dairy and doubt there would be anything to eat 😦 Ah well. Maybe I need to organize a local GF “taste of” one day!!
My wife and I went last year. We ate too much. We probably even saw you there, but I didn’t know you then. It’s a great event.
This sounds like it will be a very fun event! And the food sounds great.
Most definitely! I really recommend attending The Taste of Anaheim for a great time! 😉
Sounds like a lot of fun! Would love to check out this event one day. Definitely something I would enjoy! Thanks for sharing!
You totally should and it is so close to Disneyland…There is so much to do in the area:)
I haven’t been to Anaheim for several years – your article reminded me that I need to go back and check out what’s new!
